We would like to use images of the cart set up taken at events for our a la sweetcart gallery and blog, please let us know if you object to this.
Or leave it to a la sweetcart to take photos of your event for an additional charge.
Terms & Conditions
A la sweetcart holds full Public Liability Insurance, a copy of our insurance policy can be provided upon request.
Our Carts/Buffets are for one 24 hour hire period only unless your request specifically requires the hire for a longer period of time.
A $30 delivery charge is applicable to any venues outside a 25km radius of 6019 postcode.
Our sweetcarts can be either hired as:
The Sweetcart Only
The Sweetcart and selection of Glass Ware
The Sweetcart , selection of Glass Ware and your choice of coloured Candy from our Candy Bar
The Sweetcart with all of the above plus we style the cart as per your event
You are not permitted to mix your own Candy with Candy provided by a la sweetcart, this is for insurance and product traceability reasons.
Any Candy left over at the end of your event will be placed into sweet bags for you to enjoy at your leisure.
The dimensions of our sweet cart are 153cm length, 61 cm width and 203 cm height.
A la sweetcart will be delivered and set up by us on a date and time specified by you, once the sweet cart is in location, the sweetcart cannot be moved by anyone other than a la sweetcart.
Under no circumstances can anything such as banners, pictures, adhesive hooks or sticky tape be attached to the sweetcart.
Placing an order with a la sweetcart denotes that you have read, agreed and understood these terms and conditions, so please read these carefully. No alterations to these terms and conditions can be made unless agreed to in writing.
A la sweetcart reserves the right to remove our sweetcart from any event before the end of the hire period if we deem that the sweetcart could potentially be damaged.
A la sweetcart will be able to hold a selected date for you for 2 weeks only, after this time if the deposit has not been paid, we reserve the right to release the date.
All bookings will be confirmed in writing and be guaranteed once the relevant payment has been received.
A la sweetcart will treat any personal information you provide as confidential and will only be used to contact you in connection with services provided and to respond to any requests or enquiries you have made to provide the requested information.
A la sweetcart WILL NOT under any circumstances sell, trade or rent your information to third parties.
Booking Process and Payment
When making a booking more than 4 weeks out we require a $100.00 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking, We will then require full payment no later than 4 weeks to your event taking place. If your booking is less than 4 weeks away then we require full payment along with the fully refundable damage deposit of $50.00.
A la sweetcart require a damage deposit of $50.00 which is fully refundable and can be paid by a separate payment or included in your final payment. The paymentwill be given back to you at the end of your hire period upon the satisfactory collection of our cart. Should any damage occur then unfortunately this will result in a deduction from your deposit to replace any items. All damaged items remain the property of a la sweetcart and must be returned.
We accept payment by cash or by bank transfer. Full details are provided on your invoice.
If a la sweetcart haven’t received full payment 4 weeks before your booking, then we reserve the right to withdraw acceptance of your order. No delivery will be made without full payment.
No refunds or credits will be issued for any returned or unused stock
Less than 4 weeks prior to your event - 50% of the full cost is due.
Less than 2 weeks prior to your event – 100% of the full cost is due.
